I have a few minutes between errands this weekend so let me quickly describe the development environment I’ve set up for LonelyDNS. On my primary development machine (running Fedora 33 workstation), I have docker installed thanks to this article from Fedora Magazine.
I’ve started and stopped several side projects over the years. Many of these false starts were the result of chasing shiny new programming languages and cloud-based services that promised to solve all my worldly needs.
I’ve had an idea for a side project for several years but I have not had the time to bring it to reality. After taking some vacation time to ponder, I’d like to introduce you to my future side project aptly named… LonelyDNS.
